For the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, children, adults and members of the ATD Fourth World Movement met and conversed with political figures.

Discussing, meeting,…to ensure rights for all

These encounters are a source of strength, but the question remains: how can the most remote and restricted poor participate and be at the heart of these meetings? And how can each one of us take action to ensure equal rights for all?

From Bolivia to Africa, the ATD Fourth World Movement, through its actions, proves that it is possible for all people to speak out and to be heard.

Wherever men and women are condemned to live in extreme poverty, human rights are violated.
To come together to ensure that these rights be respected is our solemn duty.
