SUMMARY:Wider World Conversations
DESCRIPTION:ATD Fourth World’s virtual ‘Wider World Conversations’ began in 2023\, serving as an opportunity for individuals to develop a sense of connection to ATD Fourth World’s actions across the world\, as well as to discover and explore topics more broadly related to the wider context of social justice and anti-poverty action. \nParticipants take turns facilitating conversations\, creating safe spaces to delve into broad interests. From questions of how to communicate ethically and authentically\, to gaining an understanding of missing and murdered Indigenous women in New Mexico\, to connecting to musicians from Playing for Change\, Wider World Conversations spark thoughtful and inspiring conversations\, allow participants to share ideas\, and build a global community. \nWe are delighted to announce that\, after a brief pause in late 2025\, these conversations have resumed! \nThese conversations are open to ATD Fourth World members\, and those interested in our work — wherever in the world they’re based.
