ATD Fourth World maintains a permanent delegation to the European Union and the Council of Europe.
The goal of our work at the European level is to bring the voices and aspirations of people with lived experience of poverty to international decision-making bodies.
We do this by advocating for the meaningful participation of people living in poverty in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies as well as by creating spaces for dialogue between civil servants, elected representatives and the most vulnerable members of society around their different roles in building a Europe that leaves no one behind.
ATD Fourth World is an active supporter of the European Parliament Intergroup on Fighting against Poverty.
Alongside other organisations and as part of a number of networks, we work with the European Youth Forum (YFJ), the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN), Social Platform and the EU Alliance for Investing in Children.
