Help build Grassroots Leadership rooted in dignity, courage, & community.
At ATD Fourth World USA, we believe that those who face poverty every day should be at the center of the efforts to end it.
That’s why we’re launching a new effort to invest in grassroots leadership training for our community members. These are people with lived experience of poverty who are ready to speak out, organize, and guide others—as well as people who walk with them to ensure they can navigate through the complex systems. But they need tools, mentorship, and a strong foundation.
Throughout the past year, ATD Fourth World USA has been developing new structures and strategies to make our work more sustainable and impactful. A Leadership Renewal Committee has been established. We have people who are ready to work. They need your support.
Your investment catalyzes:
Reinforcement of human resources to increase our reach and presence in community-led projects and initiatives
Capacity building in public speaking, organizational management, facilitation, history of US policy, and advocacy, as examples
Opportunities to develop partnerships in national and international campaigns to grow our reach and change the narrative
When you give to this campaign, you’re not just funding a program. You’re walking alongside someone who is ready to lead change from the ground up.
We hope you join us in building leadership rooted in dignity, courage, and community.
