Yesterday, on Monday, September 27, 2010, ATD Fourth World met with the HALDEwith a task force from the Consultative Committee to debate the opportunity of setting up new a criterion of discrimination because of social origins. ATD Fourth World had brought hard proof of cases of discrimination because of poverty. ATD Fourth World is hoping that this first meeting will launch a more in depth study which could lead to French law being amended to take into account this criterion of discrimination.ATD Fourth World France changes hands
