Erica Lucato is from Italy. This summer she spent over a month planning ATD Fourth World’s European Youth Grathering. She worked at ATD Fourth World’s International Center outside Paris, France.

In this short interview, Erica talks about her involvement in organizing the European Youth Gathering that took place from July 7-11. She also talks about ATD Fourth World and what she learned about it.

She points out that ATD puts a spotlight not on itself put on people with a lived experience of poverty. She also says she like the fact that ATD puts everyone on the same level, meaning everyone’s input is valued.
