Where are we?
This annual report is a look back at the work and successes of ATD Fourth World Tanzania in 2013.
Through our various commitments we witnessed parents accessing their rights to obtain birth certificates for their children and send them to school. We spread the message of our movement, our vision, and deepened our understanding about extreme poverty in Tanzania and other countries. Together adults learnt how to read and write and we brought books and creative activities to children. Young people encouraged each other to succeed in their studies and commit themselves in their communities.
On the Web
ATD Fourth World is present in various countries in Europe (on local, regional and national levels, see below). It also conducts cross-border actions: engaging with young people (Djynamo), organizing meetings with young people and adults (Fourth World People’s University, Forums, …), offering trainings, conducting arts and cultural activities, advocating for human rights…
The International Movement ATD Fourth World maintains a permanent delegation to European Institutions.
As part of our priorities for 2013 -2017, we are paying particular attention to action against poverty across Europe (blog).
